Caltech students
are eligible to participate in the 3 lab sessions held during the term.
Completion
of safety training for the Lewis labs in Noyes is required prior to entering
the laboratory.
The
safety-training sessions were held during the week of Jan 9. If you missed these sessions and want to
participate in the labs, please coordinate with Annelise Thompson for safety
training during the next routine monthly safety-training session for the Lewis
labs in Noyes. Safety training in Noyes
is held on the first Monday of the month, so the next session normally would be
Feb 6 (but again, coordinate with Annelise).
Prior to
attending the safety training, download and watch this video (*.m4v) and read this manual (*.pdf).
Please bring
safety glasses and a lab (if you have them).
Laboratory 1 – Non-Faradaic process and Tafel plot due Feb 22
Laboratory 2 – Rotating Disc Electrode due Feb 22
Laboratory 3 – Cyclic Voltammetry due March 16 at 4:00 p.m.
